FARAZ KARBASI
Co-founder/ Managing Partner

Faraz Karbasi is co-founder and managing partner at Conant Capital. Prior to Conant, he held several roles in the healthcare space in various capacities ranging from investing to operations and advisory.

Faraz was a Private Equity Associate at Persistence Capital Partners where he focused on platform investments in healthcare including dental, optometry, and diabetes care clinics. Prior to Persistence, he also held several roles in healthcare consulting and operations including Corporate Strategy and M&A at Pharmascience, and Management Consultant at ZS Associates where he focused on sales and marketing strategies for various global healthcare clients including Allergan, Pfizer, Roche, Amgen, and Gilead.

Faraz received an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and B.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia.

COURTNEY ELLENBOGEN
Co-founder/ Managing Partner

Courtney Ellenbogen is co-founder and managing partner at Conant Capital. Prior to Conant, she invested in companies across healthcare at the Carlyle Group in New York, investing out of the firm’s $13 billion US Buyout Fund as part of the Healthcare team.

Courtney previously worked at Deutsche Bank on the Healthcare investment banking team. She has additionally held roles at Johnson & Johnson on the Digital Health Partnerships team and at Victress Capital, a seed venture capital firm focused on investments in female-founded digital brands.

Courtney received an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a B.S. in Economics from Duke University. While at Duke, she played on the golf team and competed in several US Opens and LPGA events.
